Chris has always been passionate about music. He holds a grade 8 distinction in piano, grade 8 distinction in music theory, BA (hons) degree from Southampton University and Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music Certificate of Teaching.

Chris has previously worked as a Head of Music in a private secondary school and Music Director for a large church, as well as an ABRSM music theory examiner and writer for various music journals. He now works as a freelance musician, accompanist and music teacher as well as running a number of local community choirs.

As a musician he has played in various venues across the UK and Europe both as a soloist and in a variety of bands.
​
Chris is married with 3 children and in his spare time enjoys listening to music, reading and travel.
